The Empress reminds me of Galadriel wearing the one ring. Bear in mind a society that produces criminals who invent Xenoplague is far short of a model for utopia. then where do you live ?Īmazon similar to Dvar/Syndicate, except IMO the society they want is better. Eventually you wreck every biosphere in the galaxy. The D'Var seem to be willing to wreck biosphere's for a profit. Kir'ko but with ambitions to spread their society to rule all the galaxy. Too small to be a solution.ĭ'var/Syndicate. And if they do win, they will eventually be conquered by whatever rules the rest of the galaxy. Kir'Ko: What they want is good for the Kir'Ko homeworld. Restore the empire under the governance of CORE or the empress, or destroy the empire for an age of small independent kingdoms (or whatever political system each state may choose). It's a matter of decided the fate of the galaxy. No choice in the campaign is good or evil. At least the unification under the empress or CORE would keep the galaxy at a relative peace. Neither is the independance choice, but also the choice of the chaos, with factions and leaders fighting in an age of war. She made questionable decisions, but at the scale of a galaxy erasing a planet or two among millions is not much. She want to restore the empire, but with a human at its head. The question is whether one wants an AI to decide of the fate of humanity and how they should live. CORE is an AI made to lead humanity and which saved the empire against the herritor.
